  1. Discuss the changes in Elie Wiesel’s circumstances and environment. Has Wiesel changed? How
    is he different from how he was at the beginning of the story? What major events have affected
    him?
  2. Have students create a timeline showing how Wiesel changes over the course of the events in Night. Encourage students to be creative with how they represent this timeline, the events that occur, and the changes to Elie Wiesel. They could use a combination of a chart, images, and point-form to illustrate the timeline.
